Irritation and acne
This mask was hydrating to begin with but 6-7 hours after using this, i started getting small red papules around cheeks . its seemed like my skin didnt react well to snail mucin and got irritated. Results good - mask fit, not good
After using the mask, my skin was well hydrated and looked and felt very good. I personally did not have any bad reactions, but everybody's skin is different. My only complaint is the fit of the mask. It does not fit well on the face, especially the top portion. The bottom half of the mask is okay, but I did have to cut little slits near the corners of my mouth and I had to cut the top portion right above the lip in half so it would sit on my face better. The top half is the worst. It did not lay flat on my face at all. I had to completely cut the nose portion from the rest of it in order for it to lay on my nose. Even with me trying to cut the nose portion the best I could to fit on my nose and lay flat. It's practically impossible for the section near the nostrils. I also had to cut slits near the edge of the eye portion in order for it to lay on my face. Would buy again due to results- but hesitant because it shouldnt be this hard to put on. On top of that, the mask is folded in the package so when you try to unfold it, there are a lot of creases, which makes it hard to make. It lay flat on your face. I wish they would'nt package it folded like that. Would be 5 stars if not for the fit.
Burning Rash
I use the other COSRX snail mucin products, but this made my face break out into a red and burning hot sunburn-like rash on my face. I waited until it got clear (2-3 hours). I think that was too much time for my face.

Neither hate it nor I love it
As someone with dry and sensitive skin I'm in search of a good, non-irritating, and fragrace-free face mask, but this just isn't it. I don't have any real complaints, other than it making my face tingle a little at first, but I also didn't see much change -mind you, I only used it a couple times- or anything that really made me want to buy this again.
Be cautious!
I used this mask as a overnight treatment as derected on the box. I woke up with red spots on my face and a itchy-burning session. I would not use this mask again but if I had to i'd onky use it for max 20 minutes. I do have sensitive skin but havent had any problems with face masks expect for this one.

Do I still use moisturizer before putting on the mask? Or do I skip that on the days I use the mask ?

However, if you have particularly dry skin or feel that your skin needs extra hydration, you can apply a light layer of moisturizer before the mask.
