What fragrance concentration should I choose?

If you want something that lasts all day with minimal reapplication, eau de parfum (EDP) is a reliable choice. It typically lasts six to eight hours. Eau de toilette (EDT) is lighter and usually lasts three to five hours, which makes it a good option if you prefer a subtler presence or want to refresh throughout the day. What is a good everyday women's perfume?

A good everyday perfume is usually versatile enough to wear to work, errands, or casual outings without being overwhelming. Fresh, floral, and light fruity scents tend to be crowd-friendly and appropriate for most settings. Popular everyday options at Ulta include scents from brands like Ellis Brooklyn, Lake and Skye, and Sol de Janeiro. What women's fragrance is best for sensitive noses?

For people who find strong scents overwhelming, lighter concentrations like eau de toilette or body mist tend to be easier to wear around others. Fresh, green, and aquatic scents generally project less than heavy florals, orientals, or gourmand fragrances. You can also look for alcohol-free or clean ingredient formulas, which are available within the Women's Fragrance collection using the Preferences filters.

How many sprays of perfume should I use?

Two to four sprays on pulse points (wrists, neck, inner elbows) is enough for most eau de parfum formulas. Less is needed for parfum concentrations, which are more potent. Eau de toilette and body mist can be applied more generously. Avoid rubbing your wrists together after applying, as this can break down the top notes faster than letting the fragrance settle naturally.
