LOVE after tweaking how I use it

I see from other reviews that people are not a fan of this but I LOVE it... after making some adjustments. I use it as a pre-cleanser (& I don't follow the directions which says to just massage it on face & wipe off the product with no water). I massage it all over my face, including my eyes (which ...

Nope

I knew better than to cheat on my ride-or-die, Clinique Take the Day Off Balm. That product removes ALL my makeup except sometimes the most stubborn eyeliner. It doesn't sting my eyes either. I love Cerave and was excited to try this. It doesn't remove eye makeup very well at all. I need a second e...

Did wonders for my skin barrier

Submitted 5 days ago

By Sam

From Maryland

I use this on dry skin and wipe off with a dry cotton pad and it does a great job of removing makeup and sunscreen without stripping my skin. I didn't realize how over drying my other cleansers were. Be sure to follow the instructions because it will not work with water. I personally love that I can use this dry and don't have to worry about washing my face before bed!

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

TENS ACROSS THE BOARD

YALL READ THE PRODUCT DIRECTIONS 😭 use this DRY on your face and remove DRY with a towel or cotton round. If you attempt to use water it will work against you as it is oil based. It removed the most difficult waterproof mascara and left a perfect base for my face wash + rinse step. I never leave reviews, but as someone that HATES conventional makeup removers (micellar water burns me, neutrogena is soooo oily and filmy) this gets nothing but a perfect ten from me.

I see from other reviews that people are not a fan of this but I LOVE it... after making some adjustments. I use it as a pre-cleanser (& I don't follow the directions which says to just massage it on face & wipe off the product with no water). I massage it all over my face, including my eyes (which really helps with mascara and eye makeup removal) I ONLY wipe my eyes before I add a small amount of water + my normal face cleanser on top. Rub it all together, use a wet microfiber face cloth to wipe my face and voila! I'm left with clean, soft feeling skin before I move on to completing the rest of my skincare routine.

You need to rinse

Submitted 12 days ago

I thought a cream to water formula and the fact that the directions say "no need to rinse" sounded interesting. You absolutely must rinse. It leaves a greasy film and old makeup swirling around on your face. No clean feeling at all. I had to cleanse my face with a good cleanser afterward. Ew Since it doesnt clean your skin it's pointless. There are a ton of better makeup balms to use instead.

This has been working great for me. It breaks down my glittery eye makeup without disturbing my lash clusters. It goes from a light cream to a watery feel as opposed to oily/greasy balms. I always wipe this and other balms off before cleansing. I've never had a residue or anything. Wipe it off with some micellar water and/or makeup wipe and you'll be good to go
