Shake the bottle well before each use to combine the 2 phases into 1 solution. Moisten a cotton pad, then gently sweep over eyelids and lashes to dissolve makeup. If needed, press and hold over closed eyes for a few seconds. Use another cotton pad for lips and the rest of the face.

After a full day of wearing makeup, I decided to put it to the ultimate test—and I was seriously impressed! It effortlessly melted away my waterproof mascara without the excessive rubbing or multiple applications I've experienced with other removers. I have sensitive skin, especially around my eyes, so irritation, stinging, and dryness are always concerns for me. This formula felt incredibly gentle and soothing, yet still powerful enough to remove even my most stubborn makeup. My skin was left feeling soft, hydrated, and refreshed rather than stripped or irritated. I also loved the silky, almost milky feel of the bi-phase formula. It contains CHANEL's camellia complex, including White Camellia extract, Camellia Yeast Extract, and nourishing camellia oil, which helps explain why the delicate skin around my eyes and lips felt so comfortable and moisturized afterward. I used this product consistently for a few weeks. I noticed a couple of things pretty quickly - first, this is advertised as a "gentle makeup remover for eyes and lips," but it irritated my eyes no differently than any other brand I have tried. I had high hopes for this eye makeup remover given that it's a Chanel product, but it lacked the quality one would expect from Chanel. Secondly, the liquid inside the bottle would separate (I am aware this is common with eye makeup remover), however when I shook the bottle before use, the liquid would find a way to ooze out from inside the cap before I opened it. The process of shaking, opening, using became a bit of a mess. The makeup remover does not adequately remove eye make-up (even with a lighter make-up look). I had to use several applications to clean off my eye make-up. When I then washed my face, I would see eye leftover make-up residue on my face cloth. After use, the liquid would continue to build up and ooze out of the bottle from under the cap, so the bottle would be sitting in a small puddle of wasted product when I used it the next day. I saw no difference between Chanel Demaquillant Lacte Intense Gentle Makeup Remover and drugstore brands. I was not happy with the quality of this product and would not purchase it.

The Chanel makeup remover was nice, but I wasn't overly impressed with its overall performance. The packaging is beautiful, and the bottle feels luxurious and looks great on my vanity. It also has a really pleasant scent, which makes it enjoyable to use. However, I found that it took several attempts to completely remove my eye makeup, especially mascara and eyeliner. I was hoping for something a little more effective and effortless, particularly at this price point. While I appreciate the scent, packaging, and overall feel of the product, I think there are more effective makeup removers available for less. It gets the job done, but I'm not sure I would repurchase.

I am absolutely in love with this makeup remover. It removes every bit of makeup with nothing left behind and doesn't leave a funky residue on your skin. I feel so new and refreshed after using this to remove everything, including my waterproof mascara and eyeliner. It misses nothing! It leaves my skin feeling hydrated and smooth and it's so easy to use!

This makeup remover was by far my favorite I've tried throughout my life. It was so easy to use, had a pleasant and not overpowering smell and took the makeup off easily. I would 100% purchase this product again!
