Preparing the puff is key: press the Velour Puff into the loose powder.
Work the powder into the puff by folding and rubbing the halves together, then tap off any excess on back of hand.
Gently press puff onto skin, using a rolling motion to "work" the powder in.
Focus on the areas where makeup breaks down the most.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder is seriously worth the hype! It sets my makeup beautifully without making my skin look heavy, dry, or cakey. The texture is incredibly lightweight and finely milled, so it blends right into the skin and gives everything such a smooth, soft-focus finish. What I love most is how well it controls shine while still letting my skin look like skin. It helps blur the appearance of pores and keeps my foundation and concealer in place for hours without settling into every little line. A little goes a long way, too, so the container lasts forever. It's one of those products that instantly makes my makeup look more polished and professionally finished. If you want your makeup to stay put while still looking natural, smooth, and flawless, this powder is a must-have. Definitely a staple in my makeup routine!

First, this product was gifted to me in exchange of my honest review. I've been trying this setting powder for about a week and overall, I really like it! You get a good amount of product for the price, and the included powder puff is great for baking or setting larger areas of the face. For my under-eyes, I preferred using a small eyeshadow or concealer brush since it gave me more control. I have oily skin and deep-set eyes, so finding a powder that doesn't emphasize my creasing can be difficult. I was pleasantly surprised that this one didn't crease much under my eyes and kept my makeup looking set for most of the day without getting overly shiny. I also did a flash test and thankfully experienced no flashback, which is a big plus! I do think a good setting spray is important to use alongside any setting powder, since it can really make or break the longevity of your makeup. I'll definitely continue using this and I'm still deciding if I would repurchase it. It's on the pricier side, but considering the amount of product you get, I think it's a good value. There are still other powders on the market I'd like to try before committing to buying this one again.

I received this product for free thanks to Laura Mercier and BzzAgent in exchange for my honest review. This is a great powder! It is a very fine and lightweight formula. It provides light coverage and I like to use it to set my liquid foundation. The only reason I took off one star is because the puff applicator that comes with the powder does not fit inside the packaging. This makes it very difficult to keep clean and organized.

I love this product! It did a great job at controlling the shine on my skin while still keeping my skin looking like skin. It seemed to control oil and shine throughout the day. I also like that it didn't leave a white cast and wasn't too drying.
