- Official Answer By Clinique USGreat question! Clinique Clarifying Lotion is not rinsed off. After Clinique Facial Soap, apply Clinique Clarifying Lotion with a 100% cotton ball. Purchased this set to test out while looking for new skin care products…. My face looks and feels horrible. I have used many products and never had this happen. Very disappointed, if I used it twice a day as suggested my face would be a scab. Save yourself the trouble, try something else.

Love this combo!
I am 45 years old and was using Cerave as a face wash. My face was oily and I would have new pimples that took weeks to go away. I finally switched to this combo and realized the other face wash wasn't cleaning my face. It is taking some time but my face is healing and I can see how clean it is. The lotion is great, not oily and doesn't clog your pores. Glad I found this and switched.
