Step 1: Apply a teaspoon amount to clean, dry skin. Once applied, crystals should appear almost like a mask. Gently massage in a circular motion over entire face for up to 60 seconds, avoiding eye area. Do not scrub. (Use less pressure for sensitive skin)
Step 2: Place a generous teaspoon amount in the palm of your hand. Massage gel onto fingertips, and apply on top of crystals. As activator is applied, a warming sensation will occur. White foam will appear, indicating activation. Leave foam on 2-3 minutes to infuse vitamin c and peptides to the skin. (You can massage foam for extra exfoliating benefits or let it sit for sensitive skin) Rinse thoroughly. (You can use a washcloth for removal, to avoid getting the peel in your hair.)

It has a light, clear gel texture that spreads very easily onto the skin. The sensation after applying it over the first step is a pleasant warmth. It leaves no greasy or sticky residue. In terms of duration, the bottle lasts a long time since you only need to use a small amount. The frequency of use should be once a week due to its potent exfoliation level.

I was initially a little nervous to try this Philosophy Microdelivery Resurfacing Peel because I was worried it may be too abrasive. But I had nothing to worry about. This Resurfacing Peel is easy to apply with just a 2 step process. Step 1 has a light orange scent. The resurfacing crystals are applied in circular motion to help massage the skin. Step 2 is applied on top of step 1 and rests for a few minutes. It says a warming sensation will occur but I did not feel that. After washing away the products my skin felt so soft and smooth. I was worried it would feel too dried out but it did not. I would recommend using this about twice a week unless you have more sensitive skin. Pictures don't do it justice. They very next day after using this product I was completed on my skin by a complete stranger and she kept asking me what I use for skin care because my skin looked so good!

I really love this Vitamin C Resurfacing Peel by Philosophy! It felt really great on my sensitive skin. It didn't cause any irritation or redness, like a lot of peels do. I absolutely love the way it smells and the consistency! My skin looked so much brighter and felt very smooth after using it. This peel is supposed to help reduce the size of enlarged pores, make your skin brighter and help with dark spots and reduce fine lines. I feel like continued use will definitely make my skin look and feel healthier and younger! I will keep using this and recommend it to everyone!

This vitamin c two step skincare mask is like having a spa treatment at home! You first start off with the crystal paste and then follow it with the activating gel; which in turn creates a deep cleansing foam. I followed the directions and applied light pressure when massaging to avoid any sensitivity issues. After using it my face definitely felt cleaner and within a few days I noticed the red discoloration on my face was starting to lessen. I feel like within the next couple of weeks I'll definitely notice even more improvement!
