This product was so weird. I ordered it on the advice of Ulta AI, so I figured it would work well to strengthen my nails. My nails peel at the edges, and are pretty weak. This product was so weird. I ordered it on the advice of Ulta AI, so I figured it would work well to strengthen my nails. My nails peel at the edges, and are pretty weak. I followed the directions for the product, and long after it should have dried on my nails, their surfaces had a "gummy" feeling. It was like this stuff just would not fully dry. I was careful after I applied this new treatment, but it peeled off of my nails almost immediately. I wish I had a good experience with this product, as it was highly rated. But this was the strangest, and probably the worst, performing nail product I've ever tried. I did order the Onyx Hard as Hoof cream along with this stuff, and that product has improved my nails. The search continues for an effective nail strengthener.

I love this basecoat! It leaves a gorgeous shine and it stays on for so long. Normally anything peels off within days for me but this stays on quite well (ofc it helps that it's transparent). I also feel like my nails feel stronger and healthier from the first day that I've been using it. It's also great in combination with nailpolish, but I do notice some chipping then. But it's defenitely my go-to when I want healthy shiny natural looking nails!
