It's the best!
I have been using the Mac lip primer for at least 10 yrs and it still works for me. Keeps my lips from experiencing lipstick bleeding, cracking and dryness. Also, it's not sticky or greasy. I will continue to buy and hoping they do not discontinue as so many other products I've used over the years.

Love this product. Greatly preps my lips before I apply lipstick. Keeps my lips hydrated and helps in making my lipstick last all day. A definite must have!
Cheaply Made
I purchased this twice recently. The first one broke after I'd had it for more than 30 days so I couldn't return it. The second one has now broken after a few uses. I can't recommend or repurchase.

Is this formula sort of matte? I dont like it when im using a matte lipstick and it makes it shiny.

We always recommend letting this lipstick primer sit in your lips for a few minutes and blotting off completely with a tissue before you go to apply your matte lipstick. We'd love for you to consider MAC Prep + Prime 24-hour Extend Eye Base as a great base for sparkly shadow! This helps to prolong the wear of eye makeup by 24 hours, keeping your makeup colour true and sweat-resistant. Apply all over eyelid.
