Clean hair and spices
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Let me retract an earlier statement I was planning on making. A number of reviews had said that this was a citrus bomb in the opening, and I was absolutely not getting that at all for the longest time; I felt it opened super warm. But maybe I needed to just sit with it for a while? Because my nose totally switched up on me, with a resulting shot of citrus that is accompanied by a hefty dose of black pepper. But then we get to the middle, which is the layer my nose was picking up more at first. Middle is barbershop through and through, for sure (at least to me). The lavender, a note I detest, comes out swinging, and there's some cinnamon somewhere in the background that helps mold the spiciness of the pepper's second dose. This is an odd middle for me. When I was a kid, my dad would always use the same comb to slick his coarse, North African hair back after showering, and that clean hair smell attached itself to the comb over time. And that's the scent that I'm getting here: clean, unscented, 4a hair. It's ultimately not for me, and I don't get the hype; it's just not what I expected and not the kind of musk I prefer or seek. It lasted a while with decent sillage, and someone did compliment me, but the cons weigh heavier in the end.

Perfect for young adults
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] My son wears this scent every day. It starts off spicy metallic and dries down to a nice masculine warm leathery smell. It just settles so well and lasts throughout the day without being too overpowering. This scent brings compliments almost daily and is perfect for day or night time, and I think would work in winter or summer as the smell is very versatile. The cool packaging is also a plus! 10/10 must try.
