A woody spice scent with subtle hints of ginger and cinnamon create a fragrance that you'll enjoy. Professionally packaged in a great size makes this cologne a strong masculine scent choice for the man in your life.

It's still extremely floral, but musky enough to get away with during those seasons. I personally am not into florals like this so that is why I gave it three stars. The scent also lingers for a really long time so that was a huge plus.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Every once in a while, I come across a fragrance that reminds me why I fell in love with perfume in the first place. Valentino Vendetta Donna is one of those fragrances. I have an extensive collection and a particular weakness for dark, spicy, seductive scents. The original Thierry Mugler Alien is one of my longtime signature fragrances, and Jawhari by Daniel René is another that comes to mind when I think of rich, intoxicating compositions. Vendetta Donna isn't a dupe for either, but it has that same deliciously irresistible quality that keeps me reaching for the bottle to experience it over and over again. From the first spray, I get a beautiful creaminess accompanied by a rich, almost boozy sweetness. The red orange doesn't come across as sharp or particularly citrusy on my skin. It's more like a luscious fruit nectar, lending a slightly decadent sweetness without smelling like candy. The tuberose adds a lush white-floral richness, while the sandalwood brings a smooth, subtly sweet woodiness that gives the fragrance depth. There's something almost liqueur-like about the overall effect, but it never smells overtly alcoholic. What I especially appreciate is how beautifully the notes blend together. I don't notice a dramatic shift between the opening and drydown. Instead, the fragrance gradually becomes warmer, softer, and more sensual as it settles into my skin. The florals never become overly powdery, and the sweetness doesn't overwhelm the woods. It's beautifully balanced, with just enough richness to feel indulgent without becoming heavy. I find myself catching little whiffs throughout the day and wanting to smell it all over again. If I had to describe its personality, I'd say Diahann Carroll as Dominique Deveraux on Dynasty. Impeccably poised, effortlessly elegant, undeniably sensual, and completely comfortable in her own power. I can almost picture a beautiful atomizer filled with this fragrance sitting on her vanity. It's that kind of grown-woman luxury. Refined, confident, and memorable without being flashy or trying too hard. Performance is where I have a small bone to pick. My skin usually projects fragrance beautifully, and Vendetta Donna does leave a noticeable scent trail and attract compliments. Still, I wish the projection had a little more reach and the longevity were stronger. It's noticeable without being overpowering, but I would love for it to linger longer between applications. If you're someone who prefers powerhouse fragrances, that's worth considering. The bottle is relatively simple, with clear glass showcasing the gorgeous deep red fragrance inside and a sculpted V adding a recognizable Valentino touch. There's nothing particularly elaborate about it, but I appreciate that the presentation lets the fragrance speak for itself. Would I purchase this with my own money? In a heartbeat. Vendetta Donna is a beautifully blended floral-woody fragrance with a rich, nectar-like sweetness that feels more seductive than edible. I'd recommend sampling it if you enjoy creamy white florals, smooth sandalwood, and fragrances with a little mystery. It's especially lovely for evenings, cooler weather, date nights, or whenever you want to feel exceptionally put together. Some perfumes announce themselves. This one knows it doesn't have to.
