The first thing I have to mention is the pepper-like scent; it's quite unique and isn't overpowering. It's a highly moisturizing lotion and really does keep my skin moisturized throughout the night. Bit too powerful.
The fragrance is a bit too powerful; I think it could be toned down. Although my skin doesn't feel dry, it did make it feel tight, like I had face paint or soap on it. I only cleanse with water and not soap, so my skin wasn't overly dry beforehand. I'm not sure where the "clean beauty" element comes...

I bought this when it was in sale because my skin does usually well with products containing hyaluronic acid. I also saw lot of good reviews. However, this sits on the top of my skin in the morning when I wash my face as if its a glue layer. :) It feels sticky when I wash it off. I have normal to dry skin. I wont repurchase this product again.
