Disappointing/ Returned
I rarely write reviews, but this was disappointing. I had high expectations since it's #1 in Korea, but it didn't work for me. It tingled and itched immediately, and I broke out the next day. My skin still hasn't recovered from the breakout.
Favorite Toner Featuring Deep Sea Minerals
This is my favorite toner product featuring deep sea minerals. I have tried several similar products, such as Vichy with French volcanic minerals, COSRX centella water, etc. However, the Dokdo toner is the best comparable toner product with deep sea minerals. If you compare these products by dispensing a tiny volume onto your skin surface, you will see that the Dokdo toner is more viscous and will form droplets that sit on the skin surface, compared to other products, which are more liquid and runny on the skin surface. It's possible that this viscosity property is due to the algae extracts or other ingredients, but I also feel that the salinity of the aqueous solution with deep sea minerals is part of the magic.
This toner is great for sensitive skin.
