My forever holy grail!
This is officially my new holy grail mascara. I finally found the perfect replacement of my old fav mascara! For years, my favorite mascara was Kiss Me Heroine Mascara because it held my lashes up all day, was completely waterproof, never clumped, and kept every lash beautifully separated. After the Fukushima nuclear incident, I no longer wanted to use any Japanese beauty products for my own health, so I've been trying different mascaras that just never measured up. This one is actually an upgrade. The hold is incredibly strong, it keeps my lashes curled all day, and they've even stayed curled after sleeping overnight! Unlike my old favorite, it doesn't get crusty or flaky, even with such a strong hold. With my old mascara, once it dried, my lashes felt stiff and almost crunchy to the touch. This one is different. Your lashes stay perfectly lifted and locked in place, but when you touch them, they don't feel crunchy at all, they actually feel slightly bouncy. It gives a very natural, separated lash look with no clumping, and the fibers add some length without looking overdone. I hate mascaras that give a thick, spidery lash effect, and this one is exactly what I was looking for. Since it's waterproof, you'll need an oil-based makeup remover to take it off. I use a cleansing oil, and it removes the mascara easily with no issue.
Great for straight lashes
I have classic asian monolids, straight lashes and have always struggled with finding a mascara wand that can reach all of my lashes. This works wonders! Best thing is that i dont get that greasy under-eye mascara smudge with this formula. Definitely would recommend if you relate to these struggles!
