 The Big Reveal Eyelash Curler | For Hooded & Deep-Set Eyes

I ordered this solely because of that one 5-star review raving about it, though I still had my reservations. I was wrong to doubt it because I am truly impressed. I've always hated putting on mascara because I dreaded the eyelash curling process. I've used the Shiseido eyelash curler for over 10 years and never tried anything else because everyone always said it was the gold standard. I figured it couldn't get any better than that (and honestly, who buys multiple eyelash curlers?). The problem was that it always pinched the corners of my eyes. My eyelashes are very straight, thin, and sparse, but I still made it work with my Shiseido curler despite the pinching and occasional lash breakage. I experience none of that with this eyelash curler. It is truly seamless, pain-free experience. It fits comfortably around my eyelid/lashes, doesn't pinch, and curls all of my lashes without me having to readjust it multiple times. My eyes don't water, and I was even able to "walk out" the curler along my lashes without any pinching, tearing, or lash breakage. I also like that the curler itself feels stiff? Kinda sturdy? My Shiseido curler feels much looser in comparison, although that could be because I've had it for so many years. I 100% recommend this eyelash curler. I do have deep-set eyes (I wouldn't say they're hooded), but regardless, if you're someone who constantly experiences pinching with eyelash curlers, I definitely think this one is worth trying.

I am so happy I found this eyelash curler. I had been using Shiseido and Shu Uemura curlers forever but a sleep mask that I've been wearing for years managed to make my corner eyelashes literally start growing downwards and those other curlers just would not lift them up in no matter how much I tried. All they would do is kink them and they would still be pointing downwards for the first 2 mm or so from the root. This Jenny Patinkin curler is a lifesaver. It actually curls those downward growing lashes upwards with a beautiful swooping curl. I like to warm it with my blow dryer briefly, and then test it before using it around my eyes for a longer-lasting curl. Those other eyelash curlers also make my inner lashes bend towards my nose for some odd, infuriating reason. Besides how great it works it's also super cute with the rose gold metal and baby pink silicone pad. I think it came with four or five refills which is amazing and way better than competitors. I don't think I have hooded eyes or deep set eyes but I still love this curler! It might be more flat than the actual shape of my eyelid but I don't care because it works perfectly.
