Where've you been all my life?

My first Dyson haircare purchase. I do have good hair tools - mostly GHD's top end dryer, and I use luxury shampoo/conditioner/styling products from the salon (Oribe, Kerastase, Shu Uemeura, R&Co Bleu) I jumped on this when I saw it. I'm in my early 50's, have long, dense and frizz prone highlighted... hair with about 40% gray that is naturally wavy - Irish curls, I guess you'd say. It gets very big in humidity! The first time I used this, I think my hair was too wet - I had just blotted it with the towel. It took a while to dry, but then again, I started on the lowest fan and heat setting. I bumped it up to heat setting 2 and fan setting 3 for the second time trying it - also left it in my microfiber towel while I put on makeup and dressed, so it was damp, not soaking. Fully dry and styled in about 15 mins, which is typically what it takes with the regular hair dryer and round brush. My hair is smooth, but has some bend in it still like I like, and shiny. It seems to make my anti-frizz hair products work better than they do with the dryer and round brush alone. I did use heat protectant, but I do not feel like this caused any more damage than my dryer would - less even. It does not seem to be nearly as hot as my dryer, which is a good thing! There were fewer strands in the Dyson brush after drying than my round brush normally has after a full blow-out. Absolutely worth the purchase, and I would recommend to anyone who struggles to get a salon-perfect blow dry at home. The price is comparable to a top-tier hair dryer, and fully replaces it along with my thermal brush and round brush, so lighter for travel too. Photo attached is appx 18 hours after my second use of the Dyson. I'm impressed.
