My favorite
I got this to dry my dog faster, and ended up LOVING it for myself. It's fast and powerful, and I haven't had any longevity issues yet. I diffuse my curls several times per week using the heat regulating setting (a boon for curly hair folk). I recommend this dryer to everyone.

I love the dryer. It's very quiet and it dries my hair fast. My hair looks like i went through a wind tunnel after lol. The frizz attachment does nothing. The diffuser and focus attachments are great. The brush attachment sits at an awkward angle, definitely a learning curve to use. It straightens my hair but doesn't give a ton of volume which is what I'm looking for. I got it on deep sale so think it's worth what I paid, but at full price I would have returned it for preference reasons.

I have very fine thin hair and have had to cut it very short due to ongoing hair loss. The back of my hair curls so I leave it that way and use a diffuser, this Shark diffuser is fantastic. The top sections of my hair are the longest at around 6-7 inches, I use a concentrator with a round brush to dry that section straight toward my side, the Shark concentrator worked very well. I have thinner shorter hair on my sides and the Shark's speed setting doesn't go as low as I need it to for those sections. The low speed setting on this dryer is more like a medium or low-medium in my opinion. I tried the Quicksmooth Brush and the Frizzfighter Finishing Tool, but they didn't work well in my hair; however, I feel they would've worked well if my hair was longer. I don't think this is the best hair dryer for short problematic hair.
