Heavy, catches hair, and does not straighten well
I was excited to try this flat iron but it was very disappointing. It is unusually long, heavy, and clunky, which truly offsets any benefit to ease tension in the hands. There is a weird clicking button that is very annoying and the plates get stuck together and they pull, tug, and catch on hair. I actually lost some strands of hair using this. I have thick, naturally curly hair and it did not straighten well at all. Required multiple passes and left it looking dull and frizzy. I much prefer my 11 year old flat iron (different brand) and will stick to that until I can find a better replacement.

I'm loving the BaBylissPRO TrueTension™ 1" Flat Iron! It helps smooth my hair and gives it a sleek, polished finish. I also love using it on my daughter's hair, which can be a little wild and unruly at times. It makes such a difference, leaving her hair looking smooth, sleek, and pretty. This stylish flat iron is easy to use. It heats up fast. I think the best feature is that you can choose your heat temperature setting. I have fine hair.

This flat iron is excellent. I love that one of the features is the option to add addition pressure to reduce the number of passes required. Easy to use and not too heavy. Smoothed my hair nicely!

Overall this was a really wonderful product. The initial heat up doesn't take long and you know for our in a rush moments that is a plus. I love the ease of changing the temperature as well. The size and quality of the flat iron was amazing. It was sturdy and very well made. It was really good with applying the right amount of tension and straightening my curly coily hair. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I didn't really find the little thumb holder user friendly at first. I did eventually get it but it was awkward. Overall it was an amazing product
