Evenly mist The Wizard Detangling Primer throughout damp hair from mid-lengths to ends. Gently detangle with your fingers or a wide-toothed comb. Either air dry for natural texture or blow dry for a smooth finish. For the most even application, spray The Wizard onto a paddle brush, brushing through the hair to apply.

I guess I'm still learning how much of this to use. Seems to make my hair very greasy and oily feeling, even just 2-3 mists and I have long, medium thickness, straight hair. I have tried using less product and spraying in hands, rubbing hands together and massaging it in hair but that makes it worse...

Great smelling, shiny hair!
Highly recommend! But! Use it correctly! I see a lot of reviews talking about "greasy residue". It true, this product is oily! So dont spray so much in your hair, just a bit in mids and ends and brush through.

AMAZING!! I am OVERJOYED!! I have long, thin hair, and as I age, it needs more care. I've searched for a Detangler/Defizzer for YEARS!! I was frustrated. I bought a few top-rated brands at home. AMIKA, THE WIZARD DETANGLING PRIMER, is the best!! It detangles and hydrates instantly, nourishing every strand and keeping my long hair soft and shiny to the ends. It also lasted the longest. I'm still on the hunt for a "All Day" De-fizz leave in but The Wizard definitely helped with that. Of course, it is the end of August & in the rainy season & I live in SWFL. THAT is a given frizz situation nobody can change😄

I just got this during the 21 days of Beauty because of the price point and amazing reviews. I sprayed it on dry hair before straightening and my hair has never looked so smooth and glossy.
Overwhelming fragrance
I really wanted to like this product but the fragrance was so intense that I couldn't keep it on my hair. I think this would be great for anyone who isn't sensitive to smells. But for those that are, this isn't the product….it was making me nauseas and triggered a headache. I also had pretty bad brain fog and couldn't think about anything but the overwhelming perfume smell. It did do a good job of detangling my hair but man the smell was too much.
