It takes so many passes to get it even relitively smooth and when it does its still pretty frizzy. 3c+ girls save your money this one is not for us.
Gave my hair dryer to my hubby
I haven't picked up my regular hair dryer since I got this. I have been on a mission to grow and repair my hair, and this is part of it. I like how it dries at a safer heat and simplifies the whole styling process. I use a leave-in conditioner, oil, and a good blowout spray, and it glides through my hair without tangling. I've been using it since my last trim 6 weeks ago and I'm not seeing the split ends that I was struggling with before. Only con is I wish it was a little smaller.

I bought the Tymo Airbeam to replace my Revlon blow-dry brush, which had been my go-to for many years. I am ambivalent about it. Yes, it dries my long, thick hair faster, and I don't have to use a regular blow dryer first, but the high fan blows my hair all over the place when I am trying to style it. I just don't get the lift, volume, and shaping ability with the Airbeam that I do with the Revlon, but I do save about 20 min drying time.
