I went to Ulta with my fiancé looking for scents for our wedding, and after I spent about 30 minutes smelling every scent in the store, I found THE ONE. All the other perfumes just smelled super basic or very overly sweet, spiced, or floral. I picked Destin de Balmain up and as soon as I smelled, I was intoxicated by the depth. It had a great balance of sweet, floral, and warmth. As soon as my fiancé smelled it, he said it smelled elegant, and he doesnt know anything about fragrance. I decided to spray it on myself to see how it wore. Throughout the day, I kept smelling myself and falling more in the love with the unique and gorgeous scent. When you first spray it you get a hit of the fresh strawberry, then the dry down is layered with richness and lightened by peony. It's truly wonderful and I can't wait to wear it on my wedding day. The packaging is also so beautiful!

Friday fragrance report: Destin de Balmain ✨ Y'all know I'm not a floral girl. I usually want to smell like I own a slightly haunted cabin in the woods and know things I'm legally unable to explain. 🌲🔮 But THIS? The woods and warm finish are making me feel some kinda way. The flowers can stay today. They apparently brought attractive friends. 😂 I'm exhausted, running on fumes and whatever personality I have left, but I smell like I inherited money and have instructed my attorney to handle it. A little luxurious without being overpowering. She has presence, but she's not holding my nostrils hostage. Now we test the staying power. Because smelling expensive at 8 a.m. is lovely, but can you survive an entire Friday with ME? That's the interview. 💅😂
