Start by following the normal gel removal process.
Use a nail file to first file the surface of your gel manicure. This breaks the topcoat or first layer of gel. Take a Le Mini Macaron removal wrap (sold separately) and insert the nail, with surface touching the wet cotton pad. Wrap tightly. Wait 10-15 minutes for the liquid to soak into the gel. Remove wrap. The gel will detach from the nail.
Use Gel Removal Tool to gently glide off the remaining polish. Use a nail file to clean up the surface if needed.

I am so glad I noticed this tool. I had tried to remove gel polish myself a few times and it was a huge struggle to get it off. I bought it as a replacement for the one I had from this same brand years ago, which was in rose gold. I really like this tool for easily removing nail polish.

I'm nervous to scrape my nails too hard with this tool as it is very heavy duty. I use the angled side of the plastic cuticle pusher that came with the nail kit but if you don't have that then this is a handy tool.
