I've used and loved this product for years but this year I've thrown 2 jars away as they have a musty, moldy smell. The first jar I thought was a fluke and threw it out practically full. The second jar smelled exactly the same so in the trash in also went. So disappointed in the obvious change in this product.

Honestly, I didn't think I'd need to read reviews of such a reputable company, but yes buyer beware this product smells rancid? It doesn't sound like I'll have much luck getting this rectified, but if Clinique wants to have a good reputation, the move to make it to contact each reviewer and replace this product and pull it off sales until the problem is remedied.

Contacted the company 4 times to let them know the product I received was spoiled and smelled stinky. I was ghosted by the first representative who asked me to hold for 2 minutes and after 30 minutes, I hung up. Tried 2 more times and was told they would replace the product and I needed to throw it out. Never received a replacement, so I contacted them again. They asked me for a picture of the product which i was told to throw out. Never had my issue resolved so after 49 years of using Clinique, I am done. Buyer beware!

Since the liquid formula has been a constant in my skincare routine for 30+ years, I decided to try the cream. Unless this is a botched-batch, I'm afraid this product missed the mark! In all the years I've been using Clinique, there hasn't been a single issue with the smell of ANY one product, and I've used many. I can see by the other reviews, it's definitely not an isolated experience. Disappointing :(
