First matte I've ever tried with no cotton mouth whatsoever -- it truly looks matte, but it feels like a gloss or a balm and is just as comfy. They need a minute or two to dry down after application. Looks like a matte, wears like a balm
First matte I've ever tried with no cotton mouth whatsoever -- it truly looks matte, but it feels like a gloss or a balm and is just as comfy. They need a minute or two to dry down after application. You click the button on the bottom to advance the product, which I actually like because it's more accident-proof than a twist-up stick, although sometimes it feels like I have to click the thing like 30 times to get it going. The pictures from Nyx are not super accurate IMO. I got Rose Robe and Fuzzy Flame, I feel like Rose Robe is more brown and less pink than the picture, and Fuzzy Flame is less blue-toned than the picture. Minus a star for the downsides: it feels like a balm or gloss, but it also transfers absolutely everywhere like a balm or gloss. The formulas for different colors also behave differently -- Rose Robe is pretty much swipe and go, and removes easily. Fuzzy Flame immediately bleeds like crazy without lip liner, and stains lips dark pink. I'll use them but I'm iffy on repurchasing.

Colors are beautiful, texture is very comfortable, ok it doesn't stay on all day but for me I don't gave a problem reapplying several times a day
Favorite Matte Nyx lippie
I really love the formula and the packaging of this product. The clickey end is fun and does put out too much product at a time. Its a true soft matte without drying my lips. While it doesn't stay as well as I would like, its easy to reapply without it getting crusty or cakey.
Toasty Taupe is Perfect for the Alt or Cool Toned
Please never discontinue Toasty Taupe! As a cool-toned alt girl, it is hard to find greige lip options. When NYX makes cool toned lippies, they're always amazing. Please make more cool-toned greige lip products, NYX!!
