Yes this can dull your polish. We recommend that you either apply petroleum jelly to your nails as a barrier before applying the booties or if possible, paint your nails after the treatment is completed. Was this answer helpful to you

I don't say this lightly: this peel is hands‑down one of the most effective foot care products I've ever used. I've tried pumice stones, electric files, scrubs, masks—you name it—and nothing even comes close to the results I get from Baby Foot. The real magic is the peel itself. It's not instant, and honestly, that's what makes it impressive. For the first few days, nothing happens and you might think, "Did this even work?" Then your feet go through a rough, dry phase where they look worse before they look better. That's totally normal. Stick with it, because around day 7 or 8, the transformation starts—and it's unreal. Thick, stubborn layers of dead skin shed away and what's left underneath is insanely soft, smooth skin that feels brand new. I'll be honest: the extras like the soak and scrub are nice, but the peel alone is the star of the show. Warm water works just fine, and once the peeling begins, nothing else is really necessary. That said, the final result is always the same: feet that look and feel sandal‑ready without any physical scraping or effort. What I appreciate most is the consistency. Every single time I use it, the results deliver. You just need patience and trust the process. By the end, it genuinely feels like you've gone from months (or years) of buildup to flawless feet overnight. I now plan my peels around spring and summer because it gives me total confidence wearing open‑toe shoes. If you're willing to wait a little and let the product do what it's designed to do, this peel is absolutely worth it. I won't be without it—and honestly, I wish I had found it sooner.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

It works but…

So the peel absolutely works 100%. The other stuff that comes with it really did not make a difference with the effectiveness of the peel. It comes with a salt soak, but you can literally just soak your feet in warm water and the results of the peel will be the same. The scrub that comes with this is more creamy than it is grainy, so I didn't really find it effective as a "scrub". All this being said, you can just purchase the regular baby soft peel that doesn't come with the salt and scrub and acheive the same desired results for less money. I have used this product before numerous times and in my opinion there was no difference with adding the salt and scrub. One thing I will say about the peel and I give it 5 stars, is that it truly works. It is a long process and at first it would make me scared that I just wasted my money, but it always comes through. After you use it, it is normal to go 3-5 days without any difference or changes in the feet. Then there is a dry period where your feet look worse than before, but do not panic! All of that dry disgustingness is preparing to shed off of your feet. The peeling process for me usually happens on day 8 so be patient. And it takes a couple days maybe even 3-4 to be completely done. But it absolutely works and is a god send for spring and summer weather.
