Instantly blurs.
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I really loved this powder, it instantly blures and has a silky smooth finish. My skin is combo, and I always use a powder to matte and control oil, and this Dior powder is effective when it comes to all that. It sets my makeup and has a natural finish that does not look cakey and does not settle into fine lines or pores. I liked everything about this powder, however,it has added fragrance, and I think that is the only downside.
Holy Grail Setting Powder
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I love anything from the Dior Forever line and this was no exception! This powder truly is lightweight and has a veil effect. There is a scent but it is light and really pretty. It does such a good job of hiding any creases especially at my under eyes. My new holy grail setting powder! Can't wait to see other new releases in this line.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I have been in a ten year long love affair with the Laura Mercier translucent setting powder, so I had very specific expectations of the Dior Forever loose setting powder. The first thing I wanted to touch on was the shade. I have always been a "translucent" girl, but noticed that a Laura Mercier "translucent" was more like a fair shade in the Dior powder. Side by side, the Laura Mercier powder is actually darker! The packaging of the Dior Forever loose setting powder is to die for! With a faux-leather lid and a beautiful big powder puff, the packaging and physical appearance was showstopping. Personally, I love to throw setting powder under my eyes and other oily problem areas, so this is what I did with the Dior Forever powder. I first attempted with the included powder puff, and honestly had to grab my normal powder brush. I think that if you're just going to throw the powder all over your face quickly, the powder puff may work great! For me, I needed something more precise. The powder itself is very nice, it goes on BEAUTIFULLY and creates the most perfectly blurred look. It blends super nicely, and after a few months of using it I can say that it certainly lasts all day and I noticed extremely minimal creasing. It looked so nice that there were several days I just threw this powder over my face and called it a day! And you know what? My face looked great! The reason why I gave this powder four stars instead of the five it otherwise earned, is that the smell is very strong. It's not a bad smell, it's very floral and perfume-y, but it's a STRONG smell, and at times it was overbearing. I like this powder enough that I gave my recently purchased Laura Mercier powder to my sister, and it will be taking its place as my new favorite setting powder.
