The grit on the file wore down before I could even finish filing my nails on one hand, and the grit itself was too low to file my nails effectively. I've used other glass files, and they perform better. I love Ulta, so it is disappointing that they would let a poorly designed product be in their Ulta Beauty Collection. I hope in their next iteration of the UBC that they re-do the glass nail file, or I hope that they work with Holo Taco to sell Cristine's file in stores.
Quickly Wears Smooth
I purchased this glass nail file because it was cheapest and I hadn't read into what makes the expensive nail files worth more. After only a few uses, despite frequent cleanings of the file, it has become too smooth to have any effect on my nails.
No, I don't think its really glass.
I didn't want to buy another Holo taco file... i should have bought the holo taco file. This is not fine grained and its odly clunky

-Not as good as others that I have had in the past and too short. I like a longer file but was desperate. I can always leave this in my pocketbook for emergencies! Still looking for the longer ones.

Lost it in my house, so I invested in a more expensive file thinking they'd all have this effect. Immediately torn up again. So I bought this file a second time, and my nails are back to being strong and solid. It takes a long time to file down initially but less beeakage is worth it 100%.
