Velvetty but light
This is extremely velvetty. Super soft to the touch. If you're looking for a bold highlight, this is not it. If you are looking for a powder to give you a glow from within, this would work great. You can use it on targetted areas or all over with a big brush. It gives enough sheen to look natural.

I grabbed this on a whim to see if it was comparable to the Rare Beauty highlighters since this is supposed to be a dupe. The pigment pay off is not the best. I guess I should have expected that from a drugstore product, but some of them surprise me so I decided to try this to see if it would. The Rare beauty is super finely milled and will break apart if not careful, but that also means that you get better pigment from it. This is just not the same - it's too "stiff" in color pay off. It does the trick if you want a highlighter, but there are so many other better drugstore highlighters out there that will give you a closer dupe than this will.

I am a 73-year-old woman, living in a very dry climate, and my skin can look dull and dry. Amazing highlight powder gives me a little sparkle and glow that I would not have otherwise. It doesnt Settle in the fine lines around my eyes and it really makes my complexion pop.
