I recently went to a photo shoot for Mother's Day with my sons and I had used this product and the photographers there thought I had gotten my makeup done professionally. This is how incredible these sticks are. I will agree with some things previous reviewers have said: - there is a prep element and a learning curve to this product. Your skin needs to be squeaky clean and well moisturized, and you need a good primer (I used the NYX marshmallow primer). You also need to set it with powder to get the best effect (I use Morphe's Cloudlight). - there is a distinct "stage makeup" smell to the product, but it does quickly dissipate. Perhaps that's why one person wrote that it was like "clown makeup," but the consistency isn't. It's smooth and creamy and glides on quite easily. - the color options are somewhat limited, so I do blend 2 together to get an accurate match for my skin tone. Now to the good aspects of this makeup: - This gives insanely good coverage (definitely moderate to heavy) with no weight whatsoever. It completely mimics the finish of natural skin. - A little goes a long way, so it's a good value. I also love the application being a stick, but going on like a cream. It makes it easy to be targeted and keeps your hands clean. I blend mine on with a Morphe M106 foundation brush, but I imagine you could get a similar affect if you prefer a beauty blender/sponge. - I highly recommend this for anyone who needs a glam look (professional photos, wedding/events, etc) or even folks who prefer a full coverage look—I wear mine every day and I love that it gives a flawless look. If you're patient on learning how to apply this product, you'll never go back to anything else!

It's perfect. Goes on smooth and I don't need a lot. I get compliments on my skin when I do where it. I love the foundation stick and it matches my complexion perfectly.

I love this make up. I've been searching for foundation that matches my skin tone. This fits the bill perfectly. I'm medium olive toned. I got #10 of this brand. It's perfect!

This is going to be long so bear with me. First, I want to quickly address some issues one star reviewers have left. 1. Guys, I promise you it's either the prep or application that's making this foundation not work for you. 2. This foundation DOES NOT have clown makeup consistency. Have ya'll ever actually worked with clown makeup?? Now, let's get into the good things. I am a tinted moisturizer kinda gal. I have dry skin so tinted moisturizers have always been my go to. However, I needed something that was going to last me longer, stay in place, and have GOOD coverage for a wedding I was attending so I grabbed this during the most recent 21 days of beauty sale. I was nervous because it is a pricier product and many one star reviewers hated the consistency of this for their dry skin. BUT the 5 star reviews did convince me try it so I'm hoping to add to that with mine lol. This foundation is incredible. It is a stick foundation but the consistency is CREAMY not dry, thick, and cakey. When I say creamy, I mean when you swipe stick across your forehead, it leaves one full coverage line without skipping, and without having to press hard. For comparison, the Huda beauty stick foundation is dense, thick, tacky, and streaky when I swipe it on my face using the same prep I do for this foundation (Huda, love you girl, but that foundation is not it). For me, this is so much better than any liquid foundation I've tried in the past because with creamy products like this, you can build and blend with ease. The shade match for me was also PERFECT. For application, you need to treat it as a cream product. It is NOT a liquid and NOT a powder so you need to treat it differently!!! Make sure you double cleanse. I always recommend a light physical cleanser before a glam (or really any) look (I personally use the purple Tatcha rice cleanser). Then, you need a hydrating serum and hydrating moisturizer. Your face needs to be slick and glowy at this point. THEN, you go in with a tacky primer like the Milk hydrogrip one. THEN, you swipe this foundation on all over your face, use a flat brush to spread out into a thin layer, then blend, blend, blend with a damp sponge. This prep with this foundation is an absolute dream. The coverage, the buildability, longevity, ability to STAY IN PLACE when layering other cream and powder products is just chefs kiss. This is my new staple foundation for sure!
