Apply starting at the center of your top lip and swipe from the center out to the outer corner of the upper lip. Guide the precise tip to for an even line. Repeat with the other side. Dip the applicator back in the product and apply to the bottom lip in one clean swipe for even color. Wait to blot depending on your desired color intensity but wait at least one minute for the softest stain result.

Not at all impressed

Doesn't work, thick consistency
The product does not last any longer than a lipstick, no stain, and the consistency is thick and gummy. I would not buy again.
Do not buy into the hype
Product doesn't last, pigment has a tendency of looking patchy. None of the colors look pink, most turn a red hue. Don't even think about wearing this with chapped lips or it'll look soo bad. Color does not take the same on top lip, looks very light and uneven.
It Grew On Me and Now I Low It.
When I first purchased the stains, i hated them. The color I thought was much more saturated than what i swatched in the store. So i apply just enough (think layer) to get the pigment that I like which is more subtle. Pair it with lip liner and its beautiful. The stain through the day does become a bit lighter but lips still have a really pretty tint to them. I do find that I reapply sometimes especially after eating and drinking to add more color to my lips and it dries more matte (which i don't mind bc im not a gloss wearer). I think to get it to last longer with a more saturated coloring, you will need to apply a few layers to get that strong pigment. Overall I like these a lot and they are now my everyday lip stable. I apply it real quick before I go to the gym as well. These are great for those who want a subtle tint throughout the day.
Confused
I like the way these feel, but i har now ordered two colors and they look the same and not like the pictures. Worth it medium and Smokey Mauve apply almost brown.
