Favorite oil for breaking a gel cast!
I've been loving this set, especially the No.7 Bonding Oil! I have fine curly hair and love using a little bit of the oil to break my gel cast once my curls are fully dry. It makes my curls so much softer, shinier, and less crunchy without weighing them down. A little goes a long way, and it leaves my curls looking so much more defined and healthy!
A Must-Have for Smooth, Shiny Hair
I absolutely love this Olaplex set! Both the styling cream and the hair oil smell amazing, and I really enjoy using them together. My hair is long, porous, and color-treated, and it responds so well to these products. After styling, my hair feels noticeably smoother, softer, shinier, and much more manageable without feeling heavy or weighed down. The oil is definitely my favorite finishing step—it gives my hair such a beautiful, healthy-looking shine and leaves it looking polished and silky. I also love how smooth and flowy my hair feels after using the cream and oil together. This is a set I would absolutely repurchase and happily keep in my regular hair-care routine.
Perfect Set
The most perfect Olaplex set to exist!!! Seriously- all you need after wash day is in this kit. I love using the leave in conditioner after a fresh shampoo, and then adding oil to my ends once my hair dries down a bit. The cream is thick, not stucky at all, and gets soaked up so nicely by my hair. It leaves my hair feeling so much more hydrated and nourished, while the oil adds shine and tames frizz. I seriously could not go without these two products in my hair care routine!

Iconic stylers is right! the most talked-about products from Olaplex are the shampoo and conditioner, but these two do not get enough love. I like to use the No.7 Bonding Oil right out of the shower on damp hair. It absorbs so beautifully and goes a lot further than on dry hair. the No.6 Bond Smoother is my go-to for every day. It is also great on damp hair to help maintain hydration, shape, and reduce frizz. my favorite way to use the No.6 Bond Smoother is on day 2-4 hair when my short layers start to have a mind of their own. I like to mist water or a light hydrating mist if I'm working with dry hair. the hair absorbs the products better, and I get longer-lasting defined texture.
definitely worth it if you live in an area with low humidity
My hair feels and looks amazing after using this duo! I have long, straight hair with oily roots and live in a very humid environment (it gets to 86% in the summer). I blow dry and/or style my hair at least twice a week, and I love how glossy the bond smoother makes my hair and it also helps me get rid of the frizz. The oil is the best hair oil I've ever tried! It's lightweight, doesn't make my hair look oily/sticky, and definitely adds the shine! Unfortunately, I haven't found a product that can keep up with such high humidity as here in the NYC area, but these two were able to keep my hair frizz-free for around 2-3 hours, which in my opinion is great! Overall, I'm very happy with this duo that I received this as a part of an educational promotion, and will keep using it! Even though I have very long hair, a little goes a long way, so I'm sure it will last me long enough.
