Squeeze the product onto a tanning mitt and blend into the skin using circular motions, taking extra care around dry areas like knees, elbows and ankles.
Rinse hands thoroughly after application.

Easy Application
The application was rather easy, especially if you have a mitt. The product goes in smoothly and you can see if you need to rub it in on spots that are lighter. It's not as fast drying as I would have hoped. It wasn't streaky on my legs, but the areas near my armpits and inner arms, were a bit patchy. The color wasn't too dark, but did have a slight orange undertone. I've had it on for 4 days and still no fading. The first photo of my legs is before and the 2nd is right after application. I've received this product from #influenster for my honest review.
Good payoff but takes patience
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] The Tanologist extra dark gelly gives a good payoff but definitely takes some patience! I wish it came with an applicator glove as you have to work to get it even and then absolutely not touch anything until it dries. After you wash it off the payoff is great and lasts for a week or so.
Not Great
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I've applied self tanner between myself and my husband for years and this is just not a great option unfortunately. I do like the gel consistency, that is has minimal odor, minimum streaking, and a quick dry time with no leftover residue; but the overall product itself did not meet or exceed my expectations. I applied to one calf for comparison but maybe this is just not the best option for olive skin tones.
Great product even for fairest of skin, natural
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I was very skeptical of this product. For starters I am a very pale person, limited use with self tanners and it is extra dark. Ekk!! I stand corrected. This isnt tanners from the 00's! It goes on very dark but blends nicely. It is buildable and it has a subtle tone. No weird tones or application to suggest this was an at home job. It is a bit sticky until it dries but no biggie. No scent. I have very sensitive skin and so far so good with this product. I would suggest applying the 2nd coat after the first has dried, it will mess with the first coat a bit and make blending harder, operator error not product error. I will confess I do not have a mitt to apply the tanner with but a old wash cloth and a pair of gloves did the trick! I recommend ever for my other fair colored folks!
Beautiful brown, dries fast
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I applied the tiniest amount on 1 of my forearms after showering and exfoliating, and checked the color difference the next day. Pros: no odor, no streaking, nice and dark so I can see if I missed any spots, dried fast. Looks glittery right out of the tube. The color is beautiful! It might look like too small of a difference, but I LOVE how subtle it is. That means I can apply heavier to control the color, or I can layer if I want to. It's also a gorgeous brown, no weird green or orange.Cons: very little direction on the bottle. Wish it came with a mitt. Wish it was fragrant.
