I did a lip scrub the night before applying Liplock according to the directions. I actually gave it about 5 minutes after applying. The lipstick goes on super smooth, and the pigment is very good. I will keep buying since I love the color
I originally had the same color from Clinique. The tube was smaller, went faster and cost more. I'm so glad I asked for help at the Ulta store, to find a color similar to this one in another brand. Lasts longer and costs less. What else can one ask for?

Very thin, like a lip gloss. Does not cover the inner part of the lip, so it looks silly when it's on. Does not stay on at all.
