Dip the tip of an eyeliner brush (sold separately) into Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner, being sure to coat both sides of the brush. Wipe off any excess on a tissue. Working quickly, apply eyeliner in short, even strokes close to the lashline, from the inner to the outer eye corner.

As much as I love this eyeliner - I have worn it for years - I absolutely hate that the product dries up halfway before you've used it all. I always end up throwing away half the pot to replace it with new eyeliner that won't flake and will spread nicer, given me even coverage. Once I get my new pot...

This product really surprised me. Not only is the color beautiful & shimmery, it's also exactly as it should be for a gel eyeliner. I applied this product with an angled eye brush on my top lids just to make my eyes pop. This product was easy to apply, stayed on for the entire day without smudging, & was easy to take off. My only recommendation with this eyeliner is to buy a brush. It does not come with anyway to apply it. That's the only downfall. Other than that, this product is amazing! I really like how smooth and creamy this gel eyeliner is. It glides on easily without looking patchy, and the pigmentation is beautiful—a little product really does go a long way. The Denim Shimmer Ink shade is such a fun alternative to basic black and adds just enough color to make an eye look more interesting without being too bold. Once it sets, it wears really well and stays in place for hours without creasing or fading. I also love that you can use it for more than a traditional liner look. It works beautifully for a wing, but you can also blend it out for a soft blue smoky eye. Overall, the formula is easy to work with, versatile, and impressively long-lasting. It glides on smoothly and is easy to apply, while giving a rich, defined look. I especially liked how well it stayed in place throughout the day without smudging or fading easily. It's a great option if you want eyeliner that lasts and doesn't require constant touch-ups. Overall, I'm very happy with it and would definitely use it again.

I've loved Bobbi Brown Cosmetics for many years, and of course I have my favorites. One of them is the Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner. It is absolutely amazing! I've always worn the Chocolate Shimmer Ink, but recently I decided to try something new and I started wearing the Denim Shimmer Ink. WOW! I am so glad I took a step out of my comfort zone, because it is gorgeous! I've always hesitated to wear blue eyeliner because of the stigma that goes with it, but this is just entirely different. It is a true navy with the slightest shimmer. It completely opens up my eyes. I'm in my 50s, and personally I don't wear liner on my bottom lashes, because I want my eyes to appear as opened as possible. I tightline my upper lashes with the Denim Shimmer Ink using the Ultra Fine Eyeliner Brush, and it looks so pretty. Sometimes I add a tiny wing. The eyeliner goes on super smoothly. It is a gel liner, and it's so easy to work with! It's super precise, and I'm able to get the look I'm wanting without any difficulty. It wears all day, which I love. It doesn't fade or wear off. It is waterproof, and it doesn't smudge, so the line that I apply is the line that I still have on later in the day. It just looks so pretty. Denim shimmer ink lovely color

I love the color denim shimmer ink which is a nice navy blue color. I had issues applying it because I'm used to pen eyeliners and am not good with the brushes. It applies nice and smooth but I had a problem with it smudging. I also am using it as a beautiful blue eyeshadow because the color is perfect. I love this eyeliner but my last purchase dried up quickly and i made sure the cap was on tight. Any advice? I don't wa t to waste my money again

We’re so glad you love the Long-Wear Smudge-Proof Gel Eyeliner but totally understand how frustrating it is when it dries out so quickly, especially when you made sure the cap was on tight. A couple of things that can help - try to close it right away after each use and avoid leaving it open while you’re doing the rest of your makeup, since even a little air exposure can start to dry the formula. Some customers also find that storing the jar upside down helps keep the product fresh, and gently swirling your brush in the pot can warm it up if it feels a bit dry on the surface.
