I never use nail polish and it's been at least 20 years since I had a manicure so I know the reason my nails began to split laterally (in flat layers, not down the length of the nail) is because of this nail polish. I noticed my nails were getting ridges and I wanted to do something nice for myself so I used this nail polish over the course of 4 weeks and suddenly my nails started splitting in flat layers like a seashell. This has never happened to me before with any product and after doing some reading I understand why this product is not for me. Unfortunately the price point makes this a very regrettable purchase.
So pretty
The lilac color is so pretty. Two coats and a top coat and I don't even need polish.
NOT a ridge filler
This is OK if you're looking for a pretty pink, shimmery sheer polish. If you're looking for a ridge filler, keep looking, because this ain't it. Even after 3 coats the ridges in my nails were still visible. The color is pretty though.

Best ridge filler I've tried
I used 2 coats as a base to use under my nail polish. Went on smoothly, no odor and very sheer. I have very deep ridges and this is the only ridge filler I've used that hides them. I use sheer nail color with this base coat so my ridges vanish. Well worth the money.
