Amazing! Finally something that works!

I started using this product 20 days ago and I'm so happy I found this product. I've been struggling with acne for almost 5 years (from when I was 13 years old until now). I tried a lot of (expensive) products, but nothing worked for me. I started using this serum in combination with a cleanser (Y...

Good for fungal acne issues

Submitted 9 days ago

By Skincare Enthusiast

From San Diego

I was dealing with fungal acne on my face that was so itchy and uncomfortable. My skin on my nose was so irritated and sensitive, I learned zinc is good for fungal acne issues so I started using this every other day/every few days and it has truly saved my skin. I have been using it for 6 weeks now and since I incorporated this into my skincare routine I have not dealt with that fungal acne since. It also has helped control how oily my T Zone often gets. I feel like over time I have begun to see a difference in the discoloration in my cheeks too, but that was never too bad to begin with for me. This product has not pilled under my moisturizer and sunscreen. I do not wear makeup so I cannot attest to it pilling then, but I find the formula and feeling is fine. My skin does not feel tingly or weird when I use it either. I am about 2/3 through the bottle after 6 weeks at 3 to 4 uses per week. Absolutely worth it.

Can this be used with Roc Retinol serum capsules? If so, how? And if not, why is that?
Asked by Iz
Official Answer By The Ordinary - Brand Engage
Unfortunately, it is difficult for us to comment on the pairing of our products with those of other brands. We recommend consulting with your doctor/dermatologist, gradually incorporating one new product into your regimen at a time, and applying test patches first to see what works best for your skin. However, Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% is compatible with The Ordinary's Retinoid range. We hope this helps! Was this answer helpful to you

Hi! I am a first time buyer of this skincare brand. I just purchased this serum, and wanted to know if this should be stored in a fridge or is it safe anywhere?
Asked by miranda
Official Answer By The Ordinary - Brand Engage
We suggest storing the Granactive Retinoid and Retinol products in the fridge after opening. The remainder of our serums can be stored at room temperature, however, there is no harm in refrigerating (with the exception of The Ordinary Resveratrol 3% + Ferulic Acid 3% which should not be refrigerated). Upon opening, please consult the period after opening (PAO) symbol for the product shelf life. Was this answer helpful to you
