Though the primer doesn't necessarily need to "dry down", it should still be relatively well-absorbed with the skin feeling bouncy. I received this product for free from Smashbox for testing and review purposes. I have to say that it kept my sometimes dry skin really moisturized through the day. I'm not sure that it kept my makeup fresh but again I like the moisturizing aspect of the product.

I received this product for free from Smashbox for testing and review purposes. This was my first time trying a Smashbox primer and I love it! It's a milky consistency that glides on like silk. My foundation applied smoothly over it and really helped with hiding pores and while I have fine lines I don't feel like it caked in them like some have. I noticed no strong scents with it and overall enjoy the product and plan to keep using in the future.

I used this in the morning right before my foundation, and I really liked it. It feels super soft on teh skin and make a smooth base for my makeup without feeling heavy or greasy.
