You must shake super-well before using. The bi-phase formula contains powders to help absorb oil and refresh hair (and the visible separation and settling you see in the bottle is normal). Section damp or sweaty hair and apply 2 to 4 pumps about 6 inches away from roots. Use it where you need it the most - those areas of the hair that are damp or sweaty. Let sit for 15 to 30 seconds, then shake out with fingers or brush through. To dry even faster, blow-dry on cool. For Fine hair, start with 1 to 2 spritzes per section. Brush hair before and after applying to ensure product is evenly distributed. Shake well between spritzes.
PRO TIPS: Use a towel to absorb excess sweat where hair's damp from a workout, usually at the roots, in the nape, and behind the ears. Then, shake and spray hair in sections.

This is the product you seek when you don't want any residue. i never tried a wet dry shampoo that's convenient after a workout. but i can confidently say this product not only smells good but also leaves my hair looking fresh with no signs of residue anywhere! I really wanted to like this product. I was hoping to see a refreshed hair after a workout but instead it still looked like wet sweaty hair but just smelled better. The product works well, for what it's worth. It did help alleviate an unwashed look, when I used it after working out. Though, I was expecting more of a dry shampoo product & this is not quite that. I'd prefer to simply use dry shampoo & not have to use heat to style my hair if I'm not freshly showered. I do think the scent could be improved upon. I used this between washings to refresh. I have not used it after a workout so I can't speak to that. It made my hair feel soft and smell amazing. My hair does get oily at the roots and this made them almost completely go away! *I received this as a free product in exchange for my review*
