Game changer! Better than hourglass!
This is not just an Hourglass dupe. Honestly, I think it's even better than Hourglass. I'm saying this as someone who has actually tried several Hourglass face palettes and returned every single one because they were just too orange for me. I've been looking for a beautiful face palette for so long ...

Why the Hype?
I don't understand the hype. Its too glittery. Not only is it sheer, but it applies very patchy. The colors are also orange / warm / peachy and look nothing like the acrual product in the pan. The bronzer has glitter. You cant even build up the product. I understand its an affordable option (and oth...

Very pretty!
Great pigment (be careful with the blushes) but still buildable. I got the light palette and really love its versatility! Beautiful shades.
Not a dupe but does performs good with great color payoff
I wouldn't consider this a dupe but it is very versatile. I enjoy using this when I'm a rush a for a quick on the go look. I am medium neutral shade and you can see the pigment on me.
Perfect for my fair skin. Buildable for more color.
Perfect for my fair skin. Buildable for more color. I highly recommend this affordable option.
Great product for a very cheap price.
M you can't beat the price., we're just like the big brands
Game changer! Better than hourglass!
This is not just an Hourglass dupe. Honestly, I think it's even better than Hourglass. I'm saying this as someone who has actually tried several Hourglass face palettes and returned every single one because they were just too orange for me. I've been looking for a beautiful face palette for so long and when I saw these from Essence, I decided to give them a try, especially because the price is so reasonable. I'm not sure if they were actually trying to copy Hourglass but if we compare the two I personally prefer Essence. I have the Light palette and the shades are absolutely beautiful and delicate. They can look quite intense in the palette but once you put them on the skin they become very sheer and soft. If you want more color you definitely need to build them up. Even the bronzer is quite sheer and goes on like a soft velvet veil. It doesn't emphasize the texture of my skin and it doesn't break up my foundation. I've been using it with my Fenty skin tint and the combination is beautiful. It gives such an amazing glow without looking orange!!!! I would describe the shades as neutral to warm but definitely not too warm. The blush is also gorgeous. It gives such a beautiful soft color to the skin and doesn't look harsh at all. The highlighter is very delicate as well and doesn't emphasize texture. It gives that really pretty subtle glow and I even tried it on my eyes and it looked beautiful there too. One thing I think is important is the brush you use. I used a synthetic brush from DIBS and it's quite loose and not very dense. Maybe that's why I had absolutely no fallout while applying these. Literally not even a little bit of powder flying everywhere. If you use a very dense brush I could see these kicking up more product so I would recommend using a softer and more loosely packed brush. If you already have this palette and feel like it doesn't work for you I would definitely try changing the brush first. I'm honestly so impressed with this palette. For the price it's such a find and I'm really happy I bought it. I can genuinely see myself keeping it in my collection for years. And if I'm comparing it directly to Hourglass I would actually choose this one!!!
