Great Non-Drying Product
I was on a Royal Caribbean cruise and had my hair cut. The stylist recommended I stop using the mousse I had used for several years. She said it was drying out my hair. She used this texturizer and my hair was easier to style and held even in the humid cruise weather. Of course I bought it. I w...

Pass on this pretty bottle, terrible product!
Thankful that Ulta has a return policy because this went right back to the store. It really didn't give me the results that I hoped to have from the description. I felt like it made my hair oily and I really didn't see any softness or shine.

not stiff or crunchy
Hair Type Straight Hair
not only is this a great hairspray it holds without being too stiff or crunchy unless you spray the heck out of your hair which I do quite often my hair stylist got me hooked on it I used it years ago it's also a great makeup setting spray
I love this
Hair Type Wavy Hair
I love this. It holds my hair all day.
Great hair spray
Hair Type Straight Hair
Excellent find after Kenra 25 formula changed. I was fearful Sebastian changed their formula as well when the package changed. Thankfully it remained the ssme. Great for fine hair.
Sebastian Shaper is not available in any of my local Ultas!
Hair Type Wavy Hair
This is, and always has been, the best spray. It's never sticky, and your hair doesn't feel dirty or stiff. I'm not sure why my local Ultas aren't carrying it anymore
Wow!
Hair Type Straight Hair
Who knew. Recommended by my stylist. It does what it says. Easy to use. Keeps hair in place.

Is this product 80 Voc or 50 Voc?
- Asked by Lisa
- Official Answer By SebastianThe VOC is no longer listed on our Shaper products. Depending which state you are purchasing in will determine the VOC of the can received. Due to VOC Regulation in certain states for the Reduction of Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) in aerosol products, all manufacturers have been required to stop selling any hair finishing sprays with VOC content over 50 to the following states. AZ, CO, CT, DE, IL, IN, ME, MD, MA, MI, NH, NJ, NY, OH, PA, RI, UT, VT, VA, CA, and DC. Here's a breakdown of the information about Sebastian Shaper hairsprays with different VOC levels: • No difference in hold: The holding power of Shaper Plus is the same whether it's the 50%, 55%, or 80% VOC versions. • VOC stands for Volatile Organic Compound: These are chemicals that evaporate easily at room temperature. In hairspray, they are used as propellants. • LVOC = Low Volatile Organic Compound: Shaper uses a low level of VOCs. • Drying time: ◦ Lower VOC versions might take slightly longer to dry and may feel slightly wetter initially compared to the 80% VOC version. ◦ There's minimal difference in drying time between 50% and 55% VOC versions. • Key takeaway: The main difference between the various VOC levels in Shaper products lies in their environmental impact and potential for contributing to air pollution. The lower the VOC percentage, the more environmentally friendly the product is. However, this doesn't affect the hairspray's hold or how it feels in your hair. Was this answer helpful to you
