I normally don't take the time to write reviews, but for this I had to. My hair has been exceptionally frizzy with this new LA heat and humidity that's happening. My friend had told me about the Amika professional smoothing treatment which is like a $300 treatment so I figured I'd start here to see how well this at home treatment works. SOLD! I air dry my hair, rarely blow dry and this has been working wonders! I use the Amika overnight treatment as an addtional layer before bed as well. Amika's products have so far been amazing.
A NEEEEDDD for 4c hair girls w/ a sew in
Omgggg i have been struggling to find the right products for my leave out with a silky sew-in for my 4c hair for a minute now. It really has been trial and error. But this right here has done the trick! I use it as instructed and then before i blow dry I use Pureology Smooth Gloss spray or if you have colorwow Im sure thst would work too. AND if you have 4c hair, you have to use high heat on your flat irons but only 1 singular pass. I promise with this combo youll hair will be as silky as how your hair stylist does it! And it will last you for 2 or even 3 weeks. This has saved me from constantly putting heat on my leave-out. Please give it a try
A miss for me
Hair Type Wavy Hair
Took away volume and flattened my hair out but left the flyaways and frizz. You know it doesn't work with your grade schooler says, "Mom, you have crazy hair."
AMAZING.
i've tried so many blow dryers/ stylist products before and they helped but not how i wanted. I know that my haur type has a lot to do with this. I have a LOT of hair and it's also long and very thick. This is the first product that actually helps for my freeze crazy hair. I used it in combo with the Frizz-Me Not and results were AMAZING!
Temporary reliable
I have pretty healthy 2c hair but it tends to get a bit frizzy at times. I use the hydrating line which helps 100% (highly recommend). I used this treatment after conditioning as stated in the instructions and it works great BUT once I ran out of the product and decided to wash my hair without it, it got SUPER FRIZZY literally just getting out the shower. I think my hair started to depend on it because once I stopped it made my frizz wayyyy worse than it ever was before i started using it. I stopped using it and my hair has gotten better.
