This product honestly surprised me. I do not own any other Maybeline products, therefore I had nothing to compare to how well their products are. Product Performance- after application and 8 hours and wear, this product left no residue. The hold of performed very well, my brows stayed in place and maintained shape. •Waterproof- unknown, this product does claim to be waterproof. •Setting spray reaction- there was no reaction after spraying my L'Oréal infalliable nor One Size spray. •Skin reaction- no skin irritation after hours of wear. Product Price- the amount of product seems fairly reasonable while getting 7mL of product for $10. Weather Durabilty- Has held up in the colder temperatures, will update during the summer days. Application Process- I suggest first wearing the profuct to sleep. This allows you test this profuct for any reaction or white residue build up when reacting to your own body. Clean surface- the product will perform best and the quality may last longer if applied on completely clean skin so tbat it isnt picking up other products like foundation or primer. Comparrison of Performance and Pricing- • Anastasia brow freeze- $16 more, also contains ~ 7mL in product, doesnt hold up as long • L'Oréal brow lamination- $6 more, contains~ 5mL, holds up farily well, but noticeable when its not

I initially purchased this based on reviews. I was really impressed bu how easy it is to lay down your brows to the fluffy, feathery look. Its super convenient to use and very fast application. You dont need too much product so a little goes a long way and the clean up around the brows was also easily removable as well. But as the day goes on and my oils start to peek through my make up, the gel starts to peel and flake away. My brows start separating and drooping. It ruins the entire look. Ive tested it multiple times with using less product or more product in hopes it wouldnt happen. I also use a oil control primer as well and i still get the same result after 6 hours. My make up always lasts me 10 hours with touch ups on my oils. I never had this happen to me. I am going to stick with my tried and true got2be spiking gel as my eyebrow gel.

I use the clear Nyx one normally. It flakes and leaves a white residue which is clearly visiblw after it dries. This one has a atronger hold i.e i took a nap face in pillow and woke up with my eyebrows untouched. And when it dries there is no white residue leftover. Not to mention the tube has more product than the Nyx one.

This holds my brows in place all day. Very happy with this product, especially for the price. I'm going to go back and try and tinted ones as well.

I've been searching for a waterproof eyebrow gel for daily wear. I have dark thick shaped eyebrows so I need something easy to help maintain a clean look in between shaping appointments. This product checks all the boxes just a few swipes, does not leave my eyebrows feeling crunchy/white residue. Especially with the summer heat and humidity the product does not run down my face during my daily walks. I will continue to purchase this product.
