I agree that it is gimmicky, and makes consistent application too difficult. I was tempted to just mix it all together, until I tested the gel separately to see how much to mix together, and it pilled terribly. So I tried it on different parts and with the cream and it pilled everywhere. The cream helps to temper it, but really, why am I spending so much time to get this to work? I tried for about 10 days and then gave up. I can't tell what the cream does other than make the gel more emollient, but who knows what is in there. I do know that the gel is very sticky which isn't great under makeup but okay if you powder over the makeup. On it's own, like at night, I can't tolerate it.
Leaves skin feeling moist
Love how it feels but it doesnt dry into my skin leaving a moist sticky feeling I have oily skin so it didnt work for me so plan to return it. Recommend if have dry skin
Worth the Hype
I've never used a moisturizer that got me so many compliments on my skin! Smooth and glowing. If you use too much you will need sticky so remember a little goes a long way. The cream is separate from the gel so you can customize how much of the cream you want on your face.
Gimmicky
This is a goopy, sticky gel, with dots of cream in there so you can control how much of the cream to use, which is worthless since you don't know how much of the active ingredient is in a dot. The gel isn't absorbed well and stays sticky, but under makeup I didn't feel it, but could never be comfortable with it on my skin at night. I was thinking of whipping it all together t make a consistent concentration/cream, but what killed it for me was it made me break out because the main body of it is a gel that is horrible.
Great product
I bought this after researching the brand and picked out what products would work best for my skin. I have a couple dark spots, some mild texture, enlarged pores, and minor acne. I tried this and must say, as long as I am consistent, it works WONDERS. I am already looking at repurchasing and adding it to my go-to tried and True roster. The price point isn't bad at all as I used to spend thousands on skincare per year. 10/10 recommend this moisturizer.
