Decent but NOT must have
I was truly excited to try this body wash after purchasing it. The first few times, I enjoyed using it. The scent was light, with a "fresh and clean" aroma. I also found it easy to apply/massage over my skin. It would rinse of easily as well. However, over time, I found myself reaching for it in the shower less and less and reaching for something else instead. I also did not find this body wash to be particularly exfoliating, brightening, or body-acne clearing (because of the salicylic acid); maybe only slightly effective. It just stopped giving me returns that one would look for in a pricey product by a brand like Sol de Janeiro. I am glad I tried this body wash out, but I do not plan on repurchasing it.

The price point HURTS for a body wash, but it does help! I've noticed a difference in "razor burn", "strawberry skin", etc. Much smoother and balanced skin tones since using regularly.
Clarifies My Skin
This product feels good while bathing and my skin feels good all day after I shower with it. I love it EXCEPT for the SMELL. It smells awful.
Smells like Luxury
I've been using the Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Play Moisturizing Body Wash 40 for about 8 months, and I honestly look forward to every shower because of it. The scent is absolutely luxurious—warm, sweet, and long-lasting without being overpowering. It makes my shower feel like a little self-care ritual every day. The body wash leaves my skin feeling soft, clean, and moisturized without stripping it, and the fragrance lingers just enough to layer beautifully with my other body care products. If you love the Cheirosa 40 scent, this body wash is definitely worth it. I'll be repurchasing it again and again! 💜
Would Repurchase
This body wash smells and feels amazing. The one downside of it is the price, but if you just want a good summer scent this is it. I would rebuy, it just would not be my main body wash because I want to cherish it.
