Delicious in the best possible way

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Love at first wear, and I don't say that lightly. I need to be upfront about something. I am very picky when it comes to gourmands. Let me tell you this had me in the first five minutes. And I received a compliment as I was walking in the do...or. It was windy and the breeze pulled my scent into the room with me. My doorman said wow you smell amazing. Even the couple ahead of me turned and said, that is stunning. Bonbon caramel crunch opens with a buttery popcorn and crunchy notes that's stunningly mouthwatering without being so overly artificial. The heart settles in to a salty caramel accord that is rich and captivating. The base finishes with a warm vanilla that grounds everything beautifully. On paper this sounds like it could be too much, but in practice it is perfectly calibrated. Sweet and fun but not juvenile. Rich but not heavy. Playful, but still completely refined. I know some people may find the butter note in the opening a little forward and I get that. For me that note settles down within the first 5 to 10 minutes. I know that skin chemistry plays a big role in that. Especially when it comes to gourmands. On my skin it never once felt cloying or artificial and it's right down into the most addictive warm caramel vanilla that I've worn in a long time. It just smells delicious in the best possible way. Projection is genuinely impressive for the first few hours. This one announces itself when you walk in the room and then settles down into a cozy warm cloud that stays close and inviting. On skin I get a good 5 to 6 hours and on closing a good 8 hours plus. For a gourmand that is quite impressive. This is a fall and winter fragrance for sure. But this girl wears it whenever I catch the vibe and here lately that's been a lot. I don't even care that it's June. But I can honestly see this being cool weather, cozy nights, date night, a girls night out or just crawled up somewhere warm with good company. It also layers beautifully. If you wanna layer a little something underneath it. I am genuinely so excited about this one, and that doesn't happen to me often. It has earned a permanent spot in my collection.
