Smooth results, but time consuming

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] When testing this brush, I split my hair down the middle and compared it to the brush I typically use. I used the Tangle Teezer on the left and my normal brush on the right. I washed my hair normally, applied deep conditioner, then let it s...it for a few minutes and then split my hair into two sections using satin hair ties. With those two sections, I separated each into three small smaller sections for easier brushing. I found with the Tangle Teezer, although it does provide a smoother outcome it did get caught a lot, which scared me for breakage, especially compared to my normal brush that easily glides through my hair. The Tangle Teezer took significantly more time to detangle. Once I got out the shower I put on a hair towel turban over my head to dry. Once mostly dry, I removed the turban and scrunchies to compare my hair. The Tangle Teezer side had more frizz and less definition. It's as if it stretched my hair too much. If I were to leave my hair like this and not do a wash and go I would look a mess. So I started my wash and go routine. I added product to my hair and used the Tangle Teezer to detangler and distribute the product through my hair. I did this in small sections and even then it did snag my hair. I also found the brush hard to grip at times, especially when my hands were slippery with product. I will, however say that I like the results once the product was distributed in my hair was smooth. I didn't use the brush to define my curls. I do that by hand, but the brush did give me a smoother base to work with. Overall, I don't think I will use this brush. I think my hair is too kinky for the style of brush however, I think this will work better for people with less texture.
