Would make an effective styling product
Previously submitted a three star review because was disappointed in this for refreshing; however, if I shift my expectations and treat this as a styling product it's very effective as a lightweight way to root lift and enhance curl clumping and definition on my 2c hair.
Room for improvement
Pros: feels great on a hot sweaty scalp, cooling, does neutralize odors Cons: once dry, it leaves my hair feeling dirty and coated so much so that I know I will definitely be washing it later in the day. Bonus? This coated feeling performs as an effective root lifter, I can literally squeeze and scrunch my hair up into crazy heights

I love the *idea* of this product, an alternative to powdery dry shampoo, but it simply does not work as advertised and it adds way more time to your hair routine than just using regular dry shampoo. The product is water-based, so your roots are WET after you mist it on your scalp. For me, it was taking too long to air dry, so I ended up blow drying it and then massaging it in. I was only on day 2 hair and wanted a little refresh after the gym, but it did nothing for the tiny bit of greasiness I had and it left a tacky texture that felt gross. The scent was also nothing to write home about. For reference, I have very long 2c/3a hair of medium thickness and I did 1 light spritz on each section, holding the bottle like a foot away from my head, so it's not like I used it wrong. So far it looks like anybody who gave this 5 stars got it for free. I bought this myself and I'm probably gonna return it. I don't think it's meant for my curl type. It may work better for shorter styles or thick/course/coily curl types.
Could not use. Wouldn't spray.
