I received this product for free from Clinique (via Topbox) for testing and review purposes. This is a beautiful color, wears beautifully, and makes my skin look luminous. I am very impressed by this new foundation. It's perfect light weight foundation that last all day. I used a dense foundation brush and that gave the most coverage. I did not have to set with a powder but i have drier skin.

Im 59 and I love this balm as foundation! I had tried the It do it all balm, but the colors were all to yellow in me. This is perfect. I'll always use this.

I wanted to love this duo. I purchased it for travel. The plush petal shade is non-existant on my skin, and felt sticky. Honestly, it felt like I applied lip gloss to my face. It didn't spread well because of the stickiness. Also, it is very difficult to open, and, for the price, the quantity is small. I looked into returning it, however, i qualified for the makeup bag with samples, and liked those items for travel so will use it as lip gloss I suppose...which equates to a very expensive lip gloss that I don't love.

The clinique Daily calm makeup balm foundation has become my new staple makeup product. Firstly, the texture. Yes its a balm, but its lightweight, creamy and smooth. The pigment doesnt look like it would offer too much coverage but it definitely evens out my redness and under eye circles, offering a light natural coverage. I have found that i get the best results when i apply this to very moisturized skin. I'll apply a hyaluronic acid toner, then my moisturizer, then i apply the clinique balm with a flat foundation brush while my fave is still a bit tacky. Sometimes I'll skip concealer and apply a little extra under my eyes and pat it down with my ring finger, and im good to go. I find that applying to a moisturized face really helps it dry down to a natural look, no oxidization or flakiness. So def moisturize well!! I love this product and will absolutely be using it year round.
