I am skeptical … of all new products.. I've been around the block and then some regarding trying new beauty products … I am a licensed hair and makeup artist but wanted to give this a try. I purchased as soon as it was available so I have had enough time to give a honest review: It is almost perfect! And I say that not because of the product but because I prefer a flip top that stays on and not a screw on top. Yes, petty but when you have limited space or traveling, the attachable flip tops are the way to go. Ok, so the staying power, build-ability, coverage and the shades are what I gave it 5 stars. I bought multiple shades for myself and for my sensitive skin clients and all I can attest too is that there are no issues with breakouts, reactions etc. This is just my experience and I have very reactive skin. I prep first with a moisturizer, face primer and then dab on forehead, cheeks, nose and chin. Foundation brush for flawless blending and building so adapt to what you want. Light coverage to heavy…After finishing the rest of the makeup application, I use another recent fave: Clinique Set the Day setting spray and then use a little mini fan action to dry The compliments I have received on flawless skin proves my point. I am not young but I know the ins and outs of working with what you have and this product makes it easy. It does not seep into fine lines.. it helps hide larger pores.. You can mix and match shades for a custom shade depending on the time of the year and skin tone. Bottom line: Give it a try and a really good try and experiment. Highly recommend!
No coverage at all
I was really surprised by the lack of coverage from this foundation. I have used Clinique foundations of various kinds for years. This is the first product I've returned.
I LOVE THIS FOUNDATION
I went in the DAY BEFORE my wedding to look for foundation, I have combination skin and asked a sales associate her opinion- she recommended this product.....and all i can say is WOW i've NEVER been so in love with a product in my life. Feels amazing
