I love all the Sebastian products.
Friends commented how healthy my hair looked and shiny. I also use two of their products alternating.

Meh. Not really a bad product, but not for me. But...
I am not a fan of this conditioner. I found it heavy and it made my hair greasy and the scent was unbearable. The scent is a very heavily musky, woodsy, manly scent. It gave me a headache and smelled more on par with a men's body wash like Old Spice. I have long, fine, thick, blonde hair and it just...

Great
Hair Type Very Curly Hair
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I've been using Sebastian Professional Dark Oil Lite Ultra Light Styling Oil and it honestly lives up to the "lite" name. The texture is super lightweight—more like a silky serum than a heavy oil—so it doesn't leave your hair feeling greasy or weighed down. What I really like is how quickly it absorbs. You can run it through damp or dry hair and it just disappears, leaving behind a soft shine and smooth finish. It's especially great if you have fine or easily weighed-down hair, since it adds polish without flattening your volume. The scent is another highlight—it has that clean, salon-quality fragrance that lingers just enough without being overpowering. And a little goes a long way, so the bottle lasts longer than you'd expect. Overall, if you want something that tames frizz, adds shine, and still keeps your hair feeling light and bouncy, this is a really solid pick.

Great product, light oil that absorbs into hair. Wonderful scent!
Great product
This product is great on my blonde hair . My hair was so dry that when i brushed it my hair broke on theends but ive used this at night on wet hair and then in am when i was about to leave on my dry hair . I did only use 2 pumps so im not over doing it . My hair is so much softer and it smells amazing. Im not sure why these comments say it smells like pure alcohol but mine doesnt it smells good
Soooo good!
Just tried this and its a life changer… my hair always looks and feels really dull and dry and this is the only oil i've tried that brings my hair back to life! Tbh worth the money

What should I use in brown and gray hair to keep it shiny. The gray is on the white side.
- Asked by Consumer
- Official Answer By SebastianShampoo and conditioner can help with shine, but usually it is recommended to use a styling product to provide shine. One option would be the Dark OIl. Add extra body and smoothness to hair with Sebastian Professional Dark Oil Hair Styling Oil. This styling oil contains precious, natural oils: Cedarwood, Sandalwood and Argan. It smooths the cuticle, adds body and disappears into the hair. This Sebastian oil provides effortless styling and hair care from roots to tips. Was this answer helpful to you

This shampoo has sulfate in it so how can it be so great for color treated hair? Sulfate pull the color out and dries your hair out. I am just confused? I got blond highlights in my hair and my hair is naturally dry hair and my stylist recommended this shampoo but I am very nervous about using it because of sulfate that's in it.
- Asked by Fanak
- Official Answer By SebastianThat is a great question. We use only the highest quality sulfates and in minimal amounts – Sulfates are the ingredient that provides a good cleansing. As for color treated hair, we have the Pro-Color Shield technology to prolong hair color. Thank you for reaching out. Was this answer helpful to you

I have been using Penetraitt shampoo and conditioner for over a year and found it has worked well for me. However, I have recently noticed some breakage to my hair and am wondering if the prolonged use of these products has given me too much protein and is causing this? Should I switch to Drench instead?
- Asked by beachgirl
- Official Answer By SebastianWe would recommend our Penetraitt Masque once a week. Evenly put on damp hair, focusing on the most damaged areas. Leave in for two to three minutes; rinse thoroughly. This will help create Shiny, strong, stress-free hair. You shouldn’t need to change shampoo and conditioner. However if you feel you must switch, we would recommend Wella FusionPlex Shampoo and Conditioner. Was this answer helpful to you

Which shampoo/conditioner has more moisturizer the "drench" or "penetraitte" ???
- Asked by Kitty
- Verified Reply - Staff ExpertBoth products address moisture issues, however, Sebastian Penetrate contains protein which will take care of weak tresses by strengthening the hair shaft with protein and moisture. If your hair is extremely thirsty and not lacking any strength issues, I would use Sebastian Drench, this product addresses thirsty hair with only moisturizing emollients. Was this answer helpful to you

I have very long , dry, color treated hair and a dry scalp. My hair is about 85% gray and that has changed the texture somewhat and I also have thyroid disease that causes dry hair and scalp and also causes my hair to shed very badly when I wash & condition it! I try to keep it nourished and healthy by brushing it often and using argon oil on the ends and it helps so much. Which of the two shampoo/conditioner systems would you recommend for me? The "Drench" or the "Penetrait"? Any help would be so appreciated!
- Asked by Mickie
- Verified Reply - Staff ExpertWe suggest the Drench Shampoo, which is a shampoo that is specifically targeted to treat thirsty hair. Penetraitt is specifically formulated with protein and moisture, which is better for those with limp hair. The protein causes the hair to swell which can cause a bit too much for those who have overly thirsty hair. Was this answer helpful to you
